Matthew Lucchetti

FMMB Racing is a family that has been racing for over 20 years. Christopher and James began in the early 1990s with New England Motocross Association. Towards the late 90s, Matthew became a part of the family and also joined NEMA. Together, this family would travel to the New England races.

Over a span of a decade, the family would win multiple trophies. Matthew gained the sponsorship of Razee Motorcycles, Smith Optics, FMF, and Annie’s Mac & Cheese. He would point out of Novice and be bumped up to Amateur with NEMA. The family would repair bikes together in Christopher’s garage during the week and race together on the weekends.

As the boys grew older, they slowly drifted out of motocross. Matthew went to college and gained a job as a technician for Tweeter. Before that company imploded he began his own, Federal Hill Home Theaters. Now, FHHT is a growing small business in the center of Rhode Island that services a 100 mile radius from its location in Warwick.

With the birth of Jaikan, FMMB Racing found its new motivation. Early 2014, Matthew found his YZ250 and began to fix her up for racing. James dug his bikes up also. Christopher would join the guys in his basement garage. For most of spring, all three could often be found in the garage working on the bikes and teaching young Jaikan the names of parts. In the summer of 2014 the family made it to a handful of races while rediscovering the magic of everyone being at the races felt like.

Now, in 2015 FMMB Racing has secured the sponsorship of FHHT, Razee, Cycle Gear, Hammerhead, AMSOIL, Loudmouth, SNCC, BA Racing, & Gagnon Sign.
